First of all great software! But I have one problem:


You can't read the entries :( I tried to change the font but it did help :(

Any suggestions?

This is a known issue, it's related to the Clear Type option in Windows Xp and True Type fonts.

Also it seems the font you selected is in bold with shadow on, make sure the DeskTask font is not bold and shadow is not selected.

You can also disable Clear Type (Display Properties - Appearance - Effects) which will look a lot better, or if you like Clear Type, use a bitmap font (not true type)

Bold and shadow is off. With Clear Type switched off it work fine! This thing is that I don't want to disable Clear Type.
I also tried several bitmap fonts but the result isn't that good :(

Hi,

that font does not look good. And the font extention is tt, which means that is probably a True Type font.

try this one:



I had this font somewhere on the disk and looks good on desktask, it is a bit small, but maybe it can help you. you can download it here

This is a bitmap font, usually they have the "Fon" Extention.
The name in the font list is SysFon:fixed_v01

You can find more similar bitmap fonts here:

(If you download any font from here, be sure to download the ".Fon" version, the one with the "A")
