Hi, i'd like to know, if there is a possibility to run DeskTask without Tray Icon. Just as a process in background.
If there is now possibilty yet (i think so), then i would suggest to add an option in option-window OR add a parameter, that makes it possible to run desktask like:

desktask.exe /hidden

I suppose that it could be an option, yes, but may I ask you why?

If you are running WinXP you can always hide the tray icon using the built in functionality.

Thanks,

Hi,
yes of course this is possible.
But for me, i don't like this arrow. I like to see all the tools(!) running. But here is the problem. I think the image of desktask is, that it's not really a 'tool'... its more an extended system-funktion (what is much more cooler ^^)

and it would be much easier to use desktask in own batch-files and autoit-scripts, if there would be an option to open it with a /hidden parameter...
