Let me start to say, I like this....a lot!

Just a minor:
Something that I noticed: when using the Categories-filter, for Calendar items the Category you type enter is not case-sensitive, while it is for Task items.

Just checked and you are right, thanks a lot, that's a minor one, but nevertheless an important one, this will be fixed in the next RC (it should not be case sensative)
