Greetings,
My manager really wants to be able to use your product. He wanted it to be dosiplayable in a web page, but if that can't be done, is there any other way he can display it besides on the Desktop? Can data be extracted from it?
To me it looks like a very spiffy Outlook Add-In, but if it's that then there is little that can be done except treat it as a Windows application.
Thanks much, Mike Breeden

Hi,

Sorry no. DeskTask only displays the calendar/tasks on the Windows DeskTop.

What it can be done (for the next version) is making the data available (saved) in some location in XML or HTML format so that a third party tool could read the data and display it.

Would that be something that would satisfy your needs?

Thanks,

Greetings Andre,
Well I wrote some code to extract and intrepret the date (Outlook RecurrencePattern) in C#. If you want it, I could send it to you. You may still need the Redemption object to avoid Outlook Security.... Hmmmm. I have to test that... it may not be needed since you don't need the Body.... Hmmmm.
Enjoy, Mike
.... I extracted the data to SQL which is loaded by an ASP page. I use it with a Calendar object I got from http://www.crazybeavers.se/. It works pretty cool.
The items are entered soemthing like
<a href='outlook:" & pEntryID & "'>" & pSubject
So selecting the subject opens the Item in Outlook
