Desktask and Norton Internet Security 2007

Have been running version 1.0 with Norton Internet Security 2005 and all was terrific: love the program.
Today installed Norton 2007. No other changes made.
Now when Desktask attempts to launch, I get "The specified module was not found" error.
Removed and reloaded Desktask with same results. Tried to "repair" Outlook but the version upgrades, via Windows upgrades, evidently cause my CD(required for the repair task) to not be accepted. The repair process could not complete.
Outlook is working fine.

Suggestions?

Hi,

Here is my original reply to your question you sent via the contact form but did not reach you:

That problem is not related to DeskTask but to the automation section of
Outlook.

Without going too technical please check if Norton Security 2007 placed
add-ins in Outlook.

If so try disabling them to see if DeskTask works.

To see if you have add-ins in outlook :
Click Tools, Options, Other, Advanced options, Add-in Manager and COM
add-ins

Also if you have something related to Norton, like a toolbar, try disabling it.

Thanks,

Thanks for the response.
There is nothing related to Norton either as a toolbar or in the Add-in Manager or Comn add-ins.

Tried disabling Norton(15 minutes) but no change: error message still comes up.
Not sure if disabling Norton is the same as "not loading" at startup.
