Everytime i restart my computer, Desktask moves to different location on my desktop. I'm running Windows XP x64. Is this a known bug?

DeskTask has not been tested on Windows XP 64 Bits.
However there is no reason for him to loose it's position.

Only the position is lost? All other options, stay after a reboot?

Yeah, only the position is lost. Everything else works fine! It's a great tool, thanks!

It seems this happens on certain occasions.
I tested it on several windows and the position always stayed in the same place after a reboot.

I will see if I change the position saving method on the next release, I hope you can test it on Windows XP 64 and tell me what are the results.

The next time I restart my computer I will take some screenshots to show you the exact problem. Maybe we can go from there. I'd be delighted to test out the software on Windows XP x64. I have one more comment, however. Can you put in a feature that will allow someone to chose whether or not they want the the end time (as well as the start time) for a calendar activities? Currently, only the start time can be displayed. I would really like to see this feature implemented.

I have posted a montage of what exactly the problem on my computer is:


The first image is of when Windows XP x64 first loads; DeskTask is off the monitor.

The second image is of when I drag DeskTask back to the desired position; the portion that was off the screen experienced errors and becomes white.

The third image is when I refresh DeskTask.

I hope you'll be able to solve this issue!

Hi,

After seeing your pictures I conclude it has nothing to do with WinXP 64, in fact this happens in Desktask when it's aligned to the right side.

As Desktask window is dynamic (ie: it's width varies according to the data it gets from Outlook) sometimes it can go off screen if for instance your list has grown in width. again this does not happen when aligned left.

This is a known bug, and I'm working to see what can be done.
