Hello,

since yesterday I work with Office365, but the usefull Desktask won't work any more.
Seems like the switch to Exchange Online mixed up the interface usage a bit.

The following error is given: "Interface not supported."

Is Desktask currently still maintained?
Do you think there could be an update?

Hi,

I'm using the so called new Outlook (for Office 365), where you can switch between old and new Version. When I switch to new Version Desk Task shows Message 'RPC-Server is not available'.
When I switch back to old Version Desk Task is working fine.

I'd like to use Desk Task also with the new Version, please help!!

Hi Ulrich,

A bit confusing the branding of the various Office versions available nowadays, but is that "Office 365" 100% web only? DeskTask only supports Office/Outlook installed locally.

If possible, please provide the versions and complete product names of both the old and new Outlook versions

Hi André,
I just updated my 'old' Outlook Version from (Outlook 365 MSO (Version 2401 Build 16.0.17231.20236)) 64 bit to Version (Outlook 365 MSO (Version 2402 Build 16.0.17328.20068) 64 bit).
My 'new' Version is 1.2024.207.500 (Production)
After Update everything works fine. I now always start the new Version.

For what i understand using the new version no longer generates an error in DeskTask?
