I'm trying to use the function "Export favorites to HTML file" and receive following error message "The favorites file path is invalid. Please change it"

Some extra info: the favorites file path is
C:\Documents and Settings\Werner\Favorieten

After doing some tests, I think I have found the cause of the problem. Unfortunately I'm not able to solve it.

I created a new folder "Favorites" and copied my favorites into this folder. When I then use the export function, all goes well. So it seems that the program is language dependend.

Hi,

Find Favorites retrieves the favorites folder from windows itself, so it should recognize C:\Documents and Settings\Werner\Favorieten.

However this can be changed in the options, so you can use another folder.

The export to HTML file uses the info stored on this setting.

If you need further assistance, choose View / Preferences, click default and paste here the path Find Favorites retrieved from windows in the Favorites path box

Thanks,

The default path is C:\Documents and Settings\Werner\Favorieten.
So it seems that somehow there is some kind of parsing on the word "favorites"

Hi,

I can confirm the problem when the word "favorites" is not in the favorites path, a fix for this is now available (Find Favorites service release 4)

Thanks,
