i'm using desktask with outlook 2003 for several weeks now and found it very usefull. but since yesterday there seems to be a problem with it (after an install of some windows7 updates)

now i always get the message "RPC server not available". i've already installed desktask again (i had version 1.0 installed and dowloaded and installed 1.2 - although the about still shows it as 1.0??) but the problem still remains.

is there any other solution then the one that appears in the forum (reinstall outlook)?

please see this thread regarding this problem.

Regarding the installation to version 1.2, most likely you had it running. please make sure DeskTask is not running and reinstall again
