I am using v1.1 beta 2. When I start/restart my computer the DeskTask window keeps moving to a prior location. Even after I position it to a new location and set Lock Window.

Hi,

Normally DeskTask will preserve the position of the desktop window.

However if the task text changes it's possible that the window position is adjusted and not be the same.
