 DeskTask continues to display completed tasks

DeskTask is still showing my tasks that have been completed, even though I unchecked "Show Completed Tasks." What can I do to make the completed tasks not show up, because there are so many that I can't see my uncompleted ones at the bottom.

Thanks, and by the way, I am running v1.0 rc4.

Hi,

Are you using categories? if so in RC4 there is a bug that when tasks are restricted to specific categories, the completed tasks also appear (regardless of category)

this will be fixed in the next version.

if you do not have any category selected, maybe you can give more details on how this happens.

By using categories, do you mean do the tasks have categories? If so, then yes they do. But I am not having DeskTask use the categories in any way. When is the next version scheduled for release? Thanks for the quick response.

If DeskTask is not filtering tasks by category, then the problem is another and I cannot reproduce, neither have any report regarding this.

Since I cannot reproduce the problem, I cannot fix it, so if you want you can give details on your Tasks in order to identify where is the problem.

There is no schedule for the next version, maybe by the end of the week.

Hi

I installed v1.0 RC5 and I still have the problem with completed tasks being shown when using categories (despite "Show completed tasks" is unchecked). Here is a short analysis:

Adding one Category - everything is fine.
Adding a second Category - all tasks (completed and uncompleted) of this second category are displayed
This continues for any other category added.
Thus, the order of adding categories matters.

Maybe this will help you to fix the problem.

Hi,

Thanks for the testing, I forgot to test with more than one category.

This is fixed now (this seems to an outlook bug, I had to change the way I filter the tasks) and will be available on the next release
