What command line parameters are supported in TwistPad. In particular, is it possible to open TwistPad at a particular line number in a file?

Hi,

Thank you for you query.

At the moment Twistpad only supports a path to a file (to open) but this is something that can be easily added.

Besides the "Line number" any other command line you would like to see implemented?

I've been thinking about adding also a command line to specify 2 files for instant compare

Let me know,

Thanks for your reply. I would like to see the following parameters in order of preference:
1. Open at specific line number (useful when using Twistpad with third party search utilities, etc)
2. Compare 2 files

Hi,

Compare command line as been implmented in Twistpad 2.51, from the changes:

"Twistpad can now act as a standalone compare tool, the included "TwistCompare.Exe" when invoked with two files in the command line will launch the Twistpad compare window or using the command line switch "/C" (and 2 files) directly into Twistpad command line"

PS: The jump to line should be implemented in the next version!

Thanks for the command line addition of file compare, and for working on the line jump feature.
