Does Twistpad support syntax highlighting for mixed-content files?

Let's say I create a new file type (for files to be used with a custom tool I've written) and inside my file I have HTML and JavaScript.

Can Twistpad highlight each section appropriately even though my file is actually a "My Custom File" filetype?

Yes- Open Preference-Syntax-Double click HTML-Click Cancel-Add the file-extension at the end of "Extensions" line. Save the file.
