I load some files into Twistpad then 'save workspace as', enter a filename and save. Then I close the file or close twistpad, open it again and load the workspace but it says "workspace.tws Is not a Twistpad Workspace File".

The workspace files saved with versions prior to version 1.57 cannot be opened in 1.57.

Are you sure there is not a mix up with the versions?
I point that out because that error will happen if you open a workspace saved in version 1.56 SR1 (and lower) with version 1.57

I just tested (with v. 1.57) saving a workspace, exiting, loaded Twistpad, open the workspace and it open's the workspace files as expected.

Yea I'm sure. Just tested with version 1.57. Save workspace. Close files then try to reload it. Same error. I can send you the file if it's any use.
