The main feature in the upcoming version 1.5 of Twistpad is Unicode support.
However there are limitations regarding the manipulation of Unicode files with 2-byte characters.

Compare files, spell checking and sorting will not work correctly with Unicode 2 Byte characters, also, full support for Unicode files is only available in Microsoft Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and later versions.

Unicode support will be improved in future versions, particularly with feedback from user's using 2 Byte characters systems.

A alpha version is ready for internal testing, but at the moment there is no deadline for the release of version 1.5 of Unicode enabled Twistpad.
