Instead of starting by saying what Twistpad does in depth, I figured it would be nice to say what Twistpad does not!
- Twistpad is not an HTML Editor or any specific development platform targeted editor (rather a general editor does support a large number of syntax's and can be used in specific scenarios)
- Twistpad is not a word processing application, it allows to format the text under certain rules, but not in a free way like, for instance, Microsoft Word does
- Twistpad has parcial support for Unicode. It will recognize a Unicode text file and will offer the option to extract or convert the file to ANSI, it does not save in Unicode format (full Unicode support is planned for future versions)
